Coles Shortlisted For Funeral Planner of the Year Awards

We are over the moon to announce that Coles Funeral Directors has been shortlisted in the national Golden Charter Funeral Planner of the Year Awards. The event celebrates the achievements of independent funeral directors throughout the UK who have excelled in areas such as entrepreneurship, environmentalism and innovation.

We are a few months away from finding out the results, which will be revealed at an event we’re attending with our team on the 21 September at the Royal Lancaster London. It goes without saying that we are so proud of our team and the support and service provided to our community and customers. Being shortlisted means everything to us; it is a true testament of the meticulous approach taken by everyone to ensure those we help receive a personalised service that meets their every need. Gaining independent recognition of the incredibly hard work we put in every day means a lot to us.There are exciting changes afoot in the funeral industry and before the awards we’ll also be attending the SAIFCharter AGM alongside the other independent funeral directors that make up Golden Charter’s ownership group. The AGM is a conference to talk about what’s coming up in our sector, and how we can keep driving positive changes to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs. Fingers crossed – we’ll share more closer to the time!
