2wish
2wish provides bereavement support for families who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under. Some of the local families we’ve cared for here in Cardiff have received amazing support from the 2 Wish team, and as a family-business we understand the profound importance of the work carried out by this charity.
Ty Hafan
Tŷ Hafan is a leading Welsh children’s charity providing palliative care to children and young people while supporting their families. If you think this means we simply offer a place where children can come to die, you couldn’t be further from the truth. Tŷ Hafan is about creating a lifetime of memories to cherish. It’s about joy, laughter and friendship. It’s about life.
City Hospice
City Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist medical, nursing and end of life care to patients in their own homes. They help people with life-limiting illnesses such as dementia, cancer, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
How You Can Help
Should your family wish to raise funds for a charity in lieu of flowers and you don’t already have a cause in mind – City Hospice and/or 2wish would be very grateful for any donations and all money you might raise would be put to incredible use in the community.
Simply let us know and we can manage the collection of donations for you.
Dementia Friendly
In collaboration with Dementia Friends Wales, we are making our funeral homes in Birchgrove, Llandaff and Rumney more welcoming and accessible for customers who are living with dementia, as well as their carers and support network.
We hope that taking action in this way will help more people in our community to use our service with confidence, knowing they will receive our support every step of the way at the time they need it most.
