Christmas at the Cathedral with Tŷ Hafan

We’re proud to announce that Coles Funeral Directors will be sponsoring Tŷ Hafan’s Christmas at the Cathedral on December 2nd. Taking place at Llandaff Cathedral between 7.30pm – 9pm, this will be a festive celebration to remember, all in aid of the Sully-based charity.

Hosted by BBC News reporter Lucy Owen, the evening will include exceptional performances from Treorchy Male Voice Choir and St Johns College Cathedral Choir, with festive readings from special guests.

Speaking of our sponsorship, Gareth Coles said: “We’re proud to offer our support to Tŷ Hafan because we believe that it is doing exceptional work in Wales for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. The Christmas at the Cathedral event is a fantastic opportunity to unite our community after 18 months apart, celebrating the festive season while raising essential funds for this worthwhile cause.”

Christmas at the Cathedral is a highly anticipated event in the Cardiff community calendar, and tickets have already sold out for 2021.

Gareth continued: “We appreciate that fundraising efforts were impacted for many charities during the pandemic to protect the safety of volunteers and all involved. But we know that the social element has been sorely missed by all, and you only need to look at the ticket sales to see proof of that. And as a team, we’re very much looking forward to the evening. Particularly as seeing live performances from Treorchy Male Voice Choir and St John’s College Cathedral Choir will help us get into the Christmas spirit.

“Thank you to every at Tŷ Hafan for your hard work and for allowing us to be a part of this special evening.”

Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children, young people, and their families. For more information, please visit: https://www.tyhafan.org/
