Remembering our dead and their families

Written by Director, Gareth Coles:

If you saw last week’s press, you may have seen that we’ve had reasons to celebrate here at Coles Funeral Directors – having achieved the prestigious accolade of the first ever Funeral Directors in Wales to have been recommended by the Good Funeral Guide, and having won the highly contested Cardiff Business of the Year Award as voted for by our customers.

As part of the accreditation and voting processes, we were privy to a staggering number of reviews and testimonials from customers – all of whom had entrusted the care of their loved ones to Coles Funeral Directors.

We pride ourselves on delivering a highly personalised service here at Coles, and in order to do that, we take time to understand the life of your loved one. Through this process, we are often afforded insight into the family and friends that meant so much to the deceased – and beyond these close relationships we learn a great deal about many communities in Cardiff.

A family-run, community-focussed business, we are truly humbled by the trust you place in us to not only care for your dead, but to care for your family, friends, and communities – and as the Good Funeral Guide states, we promise you will always be:

“listened to with empathy, offered the full range of choice, given all the time you need, charged fairly and empowered to arrange a funeral that reflects your wishes and values and those of the person who has died”.

So whilst we are inviting our friends and followers this month to share their messages of remembrance – here at Coles, we’re also taking the time to remember our customers, old and new, with reverence, thanks, and best wishes.

I’d like to thank you all personally, for your support, your reviews, your votes – and most importantly, for entrusting us to look after your loved one come the end of their life.
