After the Funeral

Supporting You and Your Family After The Funeral

After the funeral ceremony, our team will continue to offer you dedicated support. We’ll be in touch to make sure the service you received was what you hoped for, and to answer any outstanding questions you might have. At this time, we can also help you decide how to honour your loved ones memory with a marker on their burial site, or guide you through ways to store or transform cremated ashes into a special keepsake.

Memorial Stones & Plaques

Coles Funeral Directors have partnered with carefully selected, local, independent memorial masons and craftsmen who can create the perfect lasting memorial to your loved one. Expertly carved from the finest materials in workshops in Cardiff, these memorials come in a range of styles to be placed in cemetery, crematorium grounds, garden or a location of personal importance to you. You can either choose from their range of popular designs, or commission a bespoke memorial piece, created especially for your family to your exacting requirements.

Our partners also provide expert restoration and refurbishment of existing memorials, after-care specialist Memorial Insurance and a very popular memorial maintenance service.

What to do with ashes

You might not want to decide right now, what to do with your loved ones’ ashes. And there’s no rush. Simply choose a container or casket to store them in safely, and you can decide when you and your family are ready. Small keepsake containers are a great way to help the whole family keep your loved one close by, if that would bring you comfort.

If you’d like to inter your loved one’s ashes at a crematorium, natural burial site or church – we would be happy to make these arrangements for you.

Or if you decide to scatter their ashes at a place that’s dear to you, we can share the guidelines for specific locations with you and provide appropriate scattering tubes for the occasion.
