Have you resolved to get organised this year?

Written by Director, Gareth Coles:

Following on from my blog on resolutions, I understand from some of the feedback that ‘getting organised’ is high on the agenda for lots of people this January! (It’s certainly high on our agenda as my wife and I get ready for the arrival of the newest addition to our family, due in just a few weeks’ time!).Chances are you’re getting your paperwork in order and thinking about ways you can save money by cancelling unwanted subscriptions or switching suppliers to get a better deal. One person I spoke to recently has taken organisation and saving to a professional level and has already bought and wrapped all their Christmas presents for next year by taking advantage of the January Sales!

My top tip for getting organised and prepared is to take out a funeral plan, if you haven’t done so already. And if you have taken one out (top marks!) – speak to your friends and family and tell them why you’ve done it so that they might be encouraged to do so…

If it sounds like a daunting task, I can assure you that it really isn’t. You can get started right now if you like (with no obligation): simply take 30 seconds to fill in the form at the bottom of this blog. One of the team will be in touch to arrange a meeting to explain everything, discuss the detail, and set up a payment plan that suits you.

By getting organised and setting up a funeral plan, you will:

  • Save, save save – funeral costs increase on average by a massive 80% every decade and 1 in 5 people struggle to meet the expense, so paying today’s prices makes sound financial sense.

  • Protect your funeral fund – with the reassurance that the money you pay into the plan is managed by the Golden Charter Trust, one of the UK’s leading independent life assurance companies.

  • Give you and your family peace of mind – together we can go through all the details and pre-arrange the finer points of your funeral if you’d like to, so that when the time comes it’s all taken care of and your family can concentrate on spending time together and supporting each other through their grief.

You can even include a Will in your plan – so that takes care of that item on your ‘to do’ list as well (you’re not alone: 60% of adults in the UK don’t have one according to a recent survey!).

So let’s make January 2018 the month to get organised and prepare for our last adventure!

IMPORTANT NOTE – prices will rise at least £300 on 1st April, so there’s even more of an incentive to fill in the form now and get the ball rolling!
